Travel by coach

Coach travel offers you door-to-door convenience, easier supervision of your group, more flexibility at the resort and the benefit of our snow guarantee.

More reassurance

PGL has a 24 hour manned helpline to organise back up procedures and assist you en-route in the unlikely event of an emergency or breakdown, or you needing to contact us during your journey. The emergency telephone number is supplied with your final travel pack.

More contacts

Our transport department has contracts with more than 85 UK coach companies, all of which have been audited and approved to ensure they comply with our exacting safety standards and Code of Practice. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, we have procedures to ensure that your coach is repaired or replaced as quickly as possible. PGL emergency staff are on call 24 hours a day to ensure effective liaison with all parties – your coach company, the driver, our transport manager and you. PGL’s transport department has contracts with all the cross-channel operators, so in case of a significant delay or any problem at your port, our cross-channel operator will simply rearrange your crossing for you, with another operator if necessary.

Coach suppliers

PGL takes tremendous care and great pride in the selection of coach companies and the service levels of our chosen operators. Our professionally qualified Transport Manager selects reputable British coach companies throughout the UK and vets their operational procedures and vehicles to ensure that our strict high standards are maintained. If you have a preferred operator we will try to organise their services for you providing they agree to our terms and conditions and comply with our high standards of safety and comfort.
