Surfing at beam house
Surf’s up! Take on the challenges that the surf throws at you and you'll be surfing like a pro in no time!
What’s it all about?
Surf’s up! Take on the challenges that the surf throws at you on this exhilarating holiday that will have you surfing like a pro in no time! Our awesome instructors will make sure you cover all the surfing basics – paddling out, catching, riding and leaving a wave. Before you know it you’ll be getting up and riding, and we promise you’ll never forget the feeling you get when you catch your first wave! The beach is really close to our centre so the surf is just a short coach ride away.
Can I do other activities as well?
Yes, as well as three days of surfing your holiday will include three days of activities from the centre’s brilliant multi activity programme and different evening entertainment each night.
Do I need any experience?
No you don’t need any surfing experience, although you will need to be able to swim at least 50 metres and be confident in the water.
Do I need any specialist equipment?
You don’t need to bring anything special; we will send you a kit list before you travel and apart from that we will provide everything you need including boards and wetsuits.

Every day is different
We offer over 50 different activities across all our centres and we pack in as many as possible on every PGL Adventure Holiday so you can have loads of new experiences! Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the specific centre pages for more information.
The fun doesn’t stop there! We also include fun-packed evening entertainment programmes at all our centres, every day, all year round, whichever holiday you choose.
Woodland and fields surround the centre and in the grounds there are activities including abseiling, climbing, archery, a fantastic high ropes course, a zip wire and motorsports. In the evenings there’s a social area to chill and chat or for hosting our varied evening entertainment programme.

|Breakfast||Off to the dining room with the rest of your group to fuel up for the day, you’ll need plenty of energy to keep you going. Breakfast includes cereals, toast, yogurts, porridge, and cooked breakfast – you choose!
Don’t forget to refill your drinks bottle before you head off to your first activity
|Lunch||Worked up an appetite? Great – it’s time to replenish your energy stores with the dining room. If you have energy to spare after lunch your Group Leader will always be ready for a quick kickabout with a ball or you could relax and chat with your new friends.|
|Dinner||Time to eat again – a different menu each day (and did we mention, often evening meals come with a hot pudding too – or you can stick with fruit if you prefer).|
|Evening Ents||Talent shows, campfires, quizzes and much more – your evening entertainment programme gives you the chance to get together with everyone else in your age group and have some laughs.|
|Bedtime||Bedtime. The younger ones go first whilst older groups have time to chill out and chat or watch a DVD. Then it’s lights out and time to sleep ready to do it all over again tomorrow!|
