Primary Schools: KS2 Adventure Study
A PGL Adventure Study residential course will help to bring subject areas to life for your Keystage 2 pupils. A study programme combined with land-based adventure activities gives you all the benefits of adventure, but with a focus on fulfilling academic needs that don't always fit easily into the classroom environment.
Multi-Activity options can be mixed with stand alone sessions of your chosen subject, or we can arrange a more comprehensive project based course with integrated activity sessions. Subjects available are ICT, Science, Field Studies and our new Cross-Curricular Course.
-
Field Studies
-
Rivers and streams, rocks and fossils, plants and soils - just some of the subjects children encounter in our tailor-made field studies units. We base the development of our courses around areas teachers tell us are difficult to deliver in school!
-
-
ICT
-
Take ICT beyond the classroom, using the residential education and adventure experience as the inspiration for creative ICT learning. Where possible, ICT course themes are directly linked with adventure activity sessions.
-
-
Science
-
Plants and animals, the earth, sun and moon, alternative technology and the human body - just some of the subjects pupils investigate in our tailor-made KS2 courses.
-
-
Cross Curricular
-
Our Cross Curricular course gives pupils the opportunity to cover a range of subjects and gives you the flexibility to choose content to suit your curriculum requirements.

Primary to Secondary Transition Course

This course is designed to support children at the critical time in their school career when they transfer from primary to secondary school - allowing them to build relationships and personal confidence.
