Little Canada
On the Isle of Wight, minutes from the Fishbourne ferry, Little Canada is located in 48 acres of beautiful woodland on the banks of Wootton Creek. The centre offers distinctive log cabin style accommodation and a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities. ICT and Field Studies courses are available in addition to Multi-Activity courses.
On an Adventure Study course your itinerary will be tailor made.
You will be sent booklets showing course units or visits available and once you have made your choices, adventure activities will be built into your visit to fit with your study units.
Wherever possible your adventure activities will be linked to the subject you are studying. For example when abseiling, pupils can measure their heart rates and the data gathered can be used later in the ICT suites.
