About Liddington

There are many reasons sports clubs love to stay at Liddington. For some it’s the chance to take advantage of our netball, football or rugby weekends that take place throughout the year. For others, it’s the chance to experience one of the UK’s largest outdoor residential centres, packed full of activities to excite and inspire sports clubs and improve team dynamics.

Liddington is just minutes from junction 15 on the M4, near Swindon – a great location for easy access from southern England, the Midlands and South Wales.

With a floodlit sports pitch, netball courts, playing fields, lakes for watersports and a fantastic range of thrilling adventure activities packed into 150 acres, Liddington has everything you need to give your sports club the trip of a lifetime.

There’s enough space to accommodate groups of all sizes, in our comfortable, purpose-built accommodation blocks.


Main Building

Purpose-built accommodation blocks around two outdoor courtyards.

King Edward's House

Converted country house within the grounds, can be sole occupancy subject to group size and availability.

The Ridgeway

Finished to a very high standard, the new accommodation block was completed in 2014 giving the centre additional capacity.

The Stables

A stone's throw away from the main building, this converted stable block includes an enclosed outside area for your group.

In addition to the variety of meals available at the servery, we’ve also got a self-service salad bar, brimming with healthy extras and fresh, homemade soup for some additional, hearty nutrition. There’s always plenty of fresh fruit available too. And if they’re still hungry, just ask us for extra food!

We can cater for a range of dietary requirements. Whether your sports team are on a special diet, have special dietary needs or just particular about what they eat, we’ll do our best to find suitable alternatives.

07.00 - 09.00 Get up, get ready and fuel up for the day ahead
09.15 - 12.30 Morning activities - usually 2 sessions with a 15 minute refreshment break
12.30 - 14.00 Dry off & clean up. Time for a fresh & tasty two-course hot lunch
14.15 - 17.30 Afternoon activities - 2 exciting sessions with a 15 minute refreshment break
18.00 - 19.00 Time to eat again - a different menu each day
19.00 - 21.00 Talent shows, campfires, quizzes and more. The evening entertainment programme keeps you laughing until bedtime.
21.00 / 21.30 Bedtime. Catch up on some zzz's and prepare to do it all over again tomorrow!
