for primary schools
A friendly welcome awaits your primary school group at Hillcrest adventure centre.
It’s the perfect place to bring younger children. Thanks to the homely atmosphere and relatively small size, it’s a great introduction to the outdoors – especially if it’s their first trip away with school.
Don’t let its size deceive though; Hillcrest has all the exciting adventure activities your pupils will love and there’s plenty of space for them to run around in.
Our friendly, encouraging instructors will help them grow in confidence as they enjoy learning new skills and building stronger relationships with each other. Our lively entertainment programmes will also provide your pupils with fun-filled evenings to keep them all busy until bedtime!

Even though Hillcrest is a small centre, there's plenty of choice when it comes to activities for your Primary School group including watersports.
These include canoeing on the beautiful River Wye and canoeing, kayaking and dragon boating on our very own private lake nearby - see the full list of activities below.
In the evenings, there are more activities to enjoy with lively entertainment sessions that will keep everyone engaged and happy until bedtime!
Enjoyable mealtimes with nutritious and tasty food
Our meals are freshly cooked, balanced and will give your pupils plenty of energy to keep them going throughout the day.
Our little extras
In addition to our fantastic range of hot meals, (which are freshly prepared and include vegetarian options), we offer tasty, healthy, homemade soup every day. There’s also a wide variety of fresh fruit and salad options at our salad bar – it’s great when they want to try something new!
We know some of your pupils may be particular about what they eat. Don’t worry though, whether it’s because of special dietary needs or simply someone who’s really particular, we will always find something to suit any special requests you may have. And if they’re still hungry, we can offer alternatives and extra food.
Looking after you
Good meals in an efficient and clean environment is always a given with us, but we like to do much more. We go all-out to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in pleasant, attractive surroundings to help you to enjoy dining with us.
