Newby Wiske Hall
for primary schools
NEW! Opening in spring 2018
About Newby Wiske Hall
Close to Leeds and Newcastle and just 15 mins from the A1(M) close to Northallerton, Newby Wiske Hall is located in the dramatic North Yorkshire countryside between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.
Over the next 6 months the site will be developed to create an impressive activity centre for schools and groups. There will be an exciting range of adventure activities in the grounds, classrooms, a sports hall, as well as en suite rooms for pupils and single en suites for teachers.
Many groups may wish to combine their stay with a visit to the historic city of York, less than an hour’s drive from the site.
Work at the centre will start shortly and we look forward to announcing dates for customers to make inspection visits in the near future. We expect demand to be strong and bookings are already open for 2018 and beyond – please call us to check availability and reserve your dates.

Engaging children to learn through adventure is what we're all about. Our choice of adventure activities is designed to motivate, build confidence and encourage development.
All activity sessions are led by our well trained, enthusiastic instructors who know exactly how to make the most of the challenges and opportunities each activity presents.
Activity descriptions are featured in the list below. There are also lively entertainment sessions each evening to keep everyone busy until bedtime!
Enjoyable mealtimes with nutritious and tasty food
Our meals are freshly cooked, balanced and will give your pupils plenty of energy to keep them going throughout the day.
Our little extras
In addition to our fantastic range of hot meals, (which are freshly prepared and include vegetarian options), we offer tasty, healthy, homemade soup every day. There’s also a wide variety of fresh fruit and salad options at our salad bar – it’s great when they want to try something new!
We know some of your pupils may be particular about what they eat. Don’t worry though, whether it’s because of special dietary needs or simply someone who’s really particular, we will always find something to suit any special requests you may have. And if they’re still hungry, we can offer alternatives and extra food.
Looking after you
Good meals in an efficient and clean environment is always a given with us, but we like to do much more. We go all-out to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in pleasant, attractive surroundings to help you to enjoy dining with us.
