About Tregoyd House
Tregoyd House adventure centre is located in the dramatic Black Mountains, part of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Your pupils will love its rural, ‘away from it all’ feel and the seven acres of adventure activities even more so!
Primary school groups love canoeing on the picturesque River Wye and enjoying the fantastic watersports available on the nearby lake.
There’s plenty to do in the centre grounds too. Whether it’s a team building session on the challenge course, facing fears on the zip wire or a race around the quad bike track, there’s plenty of adventure to take your pupils on an inspirational journey of discovery.
And at the end of an exciting day, you can all relax in our comfortable accommodation. For younger groups, why not stay at Llwyn Filly? It’s a cosy converted farmhouse just 5 minutes away, which is perfect if you want sole occupancy.

Enjoyable mealtimes with nutritious and tasty food
Our meals are freshly cooked, balanced and will give your pupils plenty of energy to keep them going throughout the day.
Our little extras
In addition to our fantastic range of hot meals, (which are freshly prepared and include vegetarian options), we offer tasty, healthy, homemade soup every day. There’s also a wide variety of fresh fruit and salad options at our salad bar – it’s great when they want to try something new!
We know some of your pupils may be particular about what they eat. Don’t worry though, whether it’s because of special dietary needs or simply someone who’s really particular, we will always find something to suit any special requests you may have. And if they’re still hungry, we can offer alternatives and extra food.
Looking after you
Good meals in an efficient and clean environment is always a given with us, but we like to do much more. We go all-out to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in pleasant, attractive surroundings to help you to enjoy dining with us.
