About Winmarleigh Hall
Winmarleigh Hall adventure centre is a great location for primary schools in the north west of England, offering a rural retreat in 50 acres of gardens and woodland near the Forest of Bowland.
Your primary school group will love the wide variety of adventure activities they can discover within the grounds. Join them on an orienteering challenge, watch who braves the bouldering wall and build closer relationships with your pupils as you help them build a raft to race across the lake.
We’ve got great facilities at Winmarleigh, including a football pitch, floodlit activity area and a games room that provides a great social space for your pupils to relax in between activity sessions.
Our huge Victorian mansion house can accommodate groups of all sizes and offers comfort and relaxation after a busy day.

Enjoyable mealtimes with nutritious and tasty food
Our meals are freshly cooked, balanced and will give your pupils plenty of energy to keep them going throughout the day.
Our little extras
In addition to our fantastic range of hot meals, (which are freshly prepared and include vegetarian options), we offer tasty, healthy, homemade soup every day. There’s also a wide variety of fresh fruit and salad options at our salad bar – it’s great when they want to try something new!
We know some of your pupils may be particular about what they eat. Don’t worry though, whether it’s because of special dietary needs or simply someone who’s really particular, we will always find something to suit any special requests you may have. And if they’re still hungry, we can offer alternatives and extra food.
Looking after you
Good meals in an efficient and clean environment is always a given with us, but we like to do much more. We go all-out to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in pleasant, attractive surroundings to help you to enjoy dining with us.
