About Lou Valagran
Nestled in a shaded woodland glade on the banks of the River Cèze, Lou Valagran watersports and adventure activity centre is perfectly placed to experience the best the Ardèche region has to offer.
It's an ideal base for the thrilling canoe descent of the spectacular Ardèche Gorge and a great location to explore this stunning part of France in its full glory.
Whether it's rafting across the river to explore the beautiful vineyards and picturesque hills on our popular Hannibal Trek, a mountain biking adventure to discover the traditional towns and villages nearby, or a scenic hike to experience the stunning waterfalls at Cascades du Sautadet, there's no better place to inspire your students in the most beautiful surroundings.
For groups that would prefer to stay within the centre grounds, we have a number of adventure activities on site for you and your group to use, and for the more adventurous, our canyoning trips will take your students off site on an exhilarating journey through gorges, plunge pools, caves and river beds for a unique experience they'll never forget!

Off-site we make the most of the opportunities in the Ardèche, including canyoning which is available at a supplement.
Our centres in southern France offer a fantastic range of delicious food choices for you and your group to enjoy. We source fresh, regional produce whenever we can and you’ll always find a cultural flavour to our menus. Our aim is to ensure your group leaves feeling full and happy. If a member of your group has a specific dietary requirement or is particularly choosy about what they eat, we will always prepare something suitable. And if they’d like some more to eat, we can offer alternatives and extra food.
Encouraging healthy eating
You’ll always find a good selection of seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables on offer every day. A range of salads is available at lunch and dinner time and fresh fruit is available at every meal.
A continental feel
We like to provide a balance by providing food that is familiar but also by giving you an opportunity to try food that has a distinctly French flavour too!
Enjoy your food
We strive to provide quality meals wherever you are eating them – as well as a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. So, whether you are in the surroundings of our clean and pleasant dining rooms or on the banks of a river, enjoy your food with PGL!
