About Tregoyd House
A rural escape in the heart of the Black Mountains, Tregoyd House activity centre is perfectly placed for secondary school groups looking for an inspirational school trip in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
There are seven acres of adventure activities to help develop, challenge and motivate your students. There are also great facilities, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for your group to use.
The chance to canoe the stunning River Wye or enjoy the watersports on the nearby lake is an opportunity not to be missed at Tregoyd.
We have plenty of adventures on land too. Whether it’s an afternoon hike to explore the beautiful surroundings, or a thrilling session on the climbing wall, there are many ways that we bring learning to life at Tregoyd.
And at the end of the day’s activities, we’ve got comfortable accommodation located within Tregoyd House itself.

Engaging children to learn through adventure is what we're all about. Our adventure activities are designed to motivate, build confidence and encourage development.
All activity sessions are led by our well trained, enthusiastic instructors who know exactly how to make the most of the challenges and opportunities each activity presents.

Each evening there'll be a lively evening entertainment programme to enjoy too, so everyone is kept busy right up until bedtime!
Balanced, great-tasting meals
We’ve got plenty of hot and cold food options for your students to choose from and all our meals are freshly cooked at every mealtime.
Soup and salad – a meal in itself
Our salad bar is always busy at mealtimes and provides a wide choice of healthy, nutritious salad choices for your group. There’s also homemade soup available every day and lots of fresh fruit – they can help themselves!
For the more particular
We’ll do our best to cater for any dietary requirements your students may have. Our catering team will always find something to suit. For those students who just want a bit more, just ask us – we always have extra food available.

|09.15 - 12.30||Morning activities - usually 2 sessions with a 15 minute break in-between
|12.30 - 14.00||Dry off & clean up. Time for a fresh & tasty two-course hot lunch|
|14.15 - 17.30||Afternoon activities - 2 exciting sessions with a 15 minute break in-between
|18.00 - 19.00||Time to eat again - a different menu each day|
|19.00 - 21.00||Talent shows, campfires, quizzes and more. The evening entertainment programme keeps you laughing until bedtime.|
|21.00 / 21.30||Bedtime. Catch up on some zzz's and prepare to do it all over again tomorrow!|
