That’s where our new Breakthrough Fund comes in.

But we’re not just providing funding – we’re unlocking potential. Potential to discover strengths they never knew they had. To explore exciting new horizons. Together we can make sure that no adventure is out of reach; no potential goes untapped.

50% funding towards the cost of your next outdoor adventure
For schools with a high proportion of pupils receiving Pupil Premium or equivalent*, we will fund 50% of your costs when you book your outdoor residential adventure with PGL.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Funding through our Breakthrough Fund depends on your school’s Pupil Premium or equivalent*, so those most in need get the most support.
- To qualify for funding via our Breakthrough Fund, your school must have been contacted and directed to this page.
- We’ll contribute funding of 50% towards the cost of your PGL trip. Your school could even match this through Pupil Premium funding or equivalent*, leaving only the transport cost for parents to pay.
- Flexible payment terms available making it easier for parents to save for the trip.
- Applies to trips in autumn 2024, subject to availability. Funded spaces are limited, so please apply as soon as possible.
*Pupil Equity Funding in Scotland and Pupil Deprivation Grant in Wales

Terms and Conditions: Funding is valid for customers who have been invited to apply, based on Pupil Premium (or equivalent*) data, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. Funding is for a 50% reduction off the PGL portion of the trip, for trips to UK destinations only and does not include transport or any additional costs incurred. Excludes the following programmes: Netball Tournaments, Football Coaching, Adrenaline Adventure, Day Camps and Accommodation-only bookings. Breakthrough funding applies to trips taken in autumn and spring. Departure dates are subject to availability, and our standard UK Schools Booking Terms and Conditions apply. We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
