Your tour will include one full day excursion with packed lunch provided. Please note, entrance fees are not included in the price of your tour and will need to be pre-paid or paid for on arrival.

Aqualand - Full day
Situated at Cap d’Agde, ¾ hour from Mimosa, this waterpark has a variety of exciting rides including Niagara, Black Hole, Anaconda, Crazy Race, Rapids, Colorado, Surf Beach and Congo River. With fast food restaurants and shaded areas this is a popular day visit.

2020 - £24 per paying person.
Free places for accompanying adults in the ratio of 1:8. Tickets must be pre-paid via PGL.
Please note that Aqualand does not open until mid-June. Groups travelling earlier will be offered an alternative activity such as AccroJump.

NEW! 'Terre Liquide' Canyoning - Full day
Experience the thrill of canyoning in the gorges near Mons la Trivalle. It’s a full-day excursion with a 1½ hour coach ride followed by two hours of jumps and slides in the gorge with your guide. A fully immersive canyoning experience, this also involves a 20-minute walk to the start point and a 30-minute hike out of the gorge at the end of the session.
You can also add a visit to a historic town on the return journey to make the most of your day out.

Carcassonne - Full day
This impressive medieval city, only 1 hour from Mimosa, is known for its walled fortifications comprising fully intact inner and outer walls and 52 towers! The city was made famous by the film Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves and features in many books and documentaries on the Holy Grail and Cathar history.
Groups can walk into the old town to visit a plethora of cafés and tourist shops. The ramparts are easily accessible and free to visit. There is a petit train tour around the old city, lasting approximately 25 minutes, which provides a historical overview. Headsets are provided in English.
Cost: Free to visit the city. The petit train costs €4.30 (up to 15 years), €5.40 (16 and over), 1:10 free place ratio. €6.60 for additional adults. Reservation is required.
Le Grau-du-Roi & Aigues Mortes - Full day
Located in the Camargue, famous for its white horses and pink flamingos on the salt flats, Le Grau-du-Roi is a popular French seaside resort. 1¼ hours from Mimosa.
If your group wishes to swim, please ensure you are able to provide adequate supervision for any water activity, according to your local authority requirements. We advise that the group assembles near manned lifeguard stations.

After lunch groups usually head to nearby Aigues-Mortes – or ‘dead waters’ - a 700- year old, fortified city, the starting point in 1248 for a huge armada setting off for the Crusades. Today the sea marshes and salt pans have left the town some distance from the sea, however it remains a delightful town to visit, with its ancient towers and ramparts. There are plenty of souvenir shops, pavement cafés and food outlets – pizza is a popular choice!

Sigean African Reserve - Half day or Full day
Spread over a vast 300 hectares, thousands of wild African animals live here including zebras, lions, rhino, giraffe and buffalo. Groups drive through the main park on the coach (1hr) then visit the other areas of the park (allow 2 – 3 hours).
Cost: €12.80 per student, 1:12 free place ratio, €28 for additional adults. 1 hour from Mimosa.
AccroJump - Half day
Just 5km from Mimosa, the AccroJump Adventure Park comprises eight high-level courses for a range of ages including a 12m-high zip wire, climbing wall, skateboarding and an off-ground adventure course with safety nets.

Local Towns and Hypermarket Visits
You will normally have the option to visit a local town for the evening. Also, for your excursion day you can choose to combine a local town visit with a half day excursion.
