About Barton Hall
At the heart of the English Riviera with views to Torquay, blue flag beaches and Dartmoor close by, it’s easy to see why Barton Hall adventure centre is so popular with primary schools.
There’s a heated outdoor pool, a watersports lake for a raft-building adventure and many other inspiring activities that will encourage your pupils to grow in confidence as they help and support each other.
Main House and Surrounding Chalets
- Pupils - En suite rooms sleep 4-10 in the main house and 4-6 in chalets
- Teachers - Single or twin en suite rooms
All activity sessions are led by our well trained, enthusiastic instructors and are specially designed to motivate, build confidence and encourage development in pupils.

Our meals are freshly cooked, balanced and will give your pupils plenty of energy to keep them going throughout the day.
|07.00 - 09.00||Get up, get ready and fuel up for the day ahead|
|09.15 - 12.30||Morning activities - usually 2 sessions with a 15 minute break in-between|
|12.30 - 14.00||Dry off & clean up. Time for a fresh & tasty two-course hot lunch|
|14.15 - 17.30||Afternoon activities - 2 exciting sessions with a 15 minute break in-between|
|18.00 - 19.00||Time to eat again - a different menu each day|
|19.00 - 21.00||Talent shows, campfires, quizzes and more. The evening entertainment programme keeps you laughing until bedtime.|
|21.00 / 21.30||Bedtime. Catch up on some zzz's and prepare to do it all over again tomorrow!|
