About Caythorpe Court
Caythorpe Court is the perfect adventure centre for primary school groups, large or small, seeking an escape to the country.
Just ten miles north of Grantham, there’s over 65 acres of space for your pupils to enjoy, packed full of adventure activities on land and water.
For some high adrenalin action, your pupils will love a race around the quad bike track. Why not test their head for heights on the giant swing? Whatever the challenge, the experienced instructors at Caythorpe will help each individual reach further and achieve more.
For primary school groups looking for a variety of accommodation options to choose from, we have comfortable single-occupancy blocks, cosy wooden lodges or our tented villages which are great fun during the summer!
We have a choice of accommodation typically sleeping 3-8, all of which is en suite.
Teachers are in single or twin en suite rooms. Single occupancy can be requested for some blocks – subject to minimum numbers.
Chalet-style tents with solid bases and frame beds
- Pupils - 5 per tent
- Teachers - 1 or 2 per tent
(adjacent shower and toilet facilities)
Engaging children to learn through adventure is what we're all about. Our adventure activities are designed to motivate, build confidence and encourage development.
All activity sessions are led by our well trained, enthusiastic instructors who know exactly how to make the most of the challenges and opportunities each activity presents.
The full list of activities available at Caythorpe Court is featured below.
Each evening there'll be a lively evening entertainment programme to enjoy too, so everyone is kept busy right up until bedtime!
Enjoyable mealtimes with nutritious and tasty food
Our meals are freshly cooked, balanced and will give your pupils plenty of energy to keep them going throughout the day.
Our little extras
In addition to our fantastic range of hot meals, (which are freshly prepared and include vegetarian options), we offer tasty, healthy, homemade soup every day. There’s also a wide variety of fresh fruit and salad options at our salad bar – it’s great when they want to try something new!
We know some of your pupils may be particular about what they eat. Don’t worry though, whether it’s because of special dietary needs or simply someone who’s really particular, we will always find something to suit any special requests you may have. And if they’re still hungry, we can offer alternatives and extra food.
Looking after you
Good meals in an efficient and clean environment is always a given with us, but we like to do much more. We go all-out to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in pleasant, attractive surroundings to help you to enjoy dining with us.
