For fans of Disney and the enchanting world of Frozen, there’s exciting news on the horizon! The brand-new Frozen Land at Disneyland Paris is set to bring the beloved Kingdom of Arendelle right to the heart of France’s most magical destination.

If you’re planning a family holiday to Paris in 2026, this upcoming attraction promises unforgettable experiences for all ages. In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about the World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris, including what to expect, key highlights, and how to enjoy it all with a fantastic Paris and Disneyland package.

Frozen Land, Disneyland Paris 2026

In 2018, the CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, announced plans for an entirely new themed area within Disneyland Paris dedicated to Frozen. It will recreate the snow-covered Kingdom of Arendelle, where magic, adventure, and your favourite characters — Elsa, Anna, and Olaf — come to life through interactive attractions, spectacular shows, and themed shopping and dining experiences.

This new land will be part of an ambitious $2 billion expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park, which will be renamed to Disney Adventure World. It is designed to recreate iconic scenes and stories from Frozen and its sequel.

Disney Adventure World will not only showcase Frozen Land, but will also introduce new zones inspired by other beloved Disney stories, including:

  • Adventure Way: A new promenade featuring themed gardens inspired by Tangled (including the "Raiponce Tangled Spin" attraction with boat-like vehicles) and Toy Story (with Woody and Jessie statues).
  • The Lion King: An immersive area dedicated to the animated classic, complete with a new water attraction plunging guests into the Pride Lands, following Simba's journey from cub to king.
  • Regal View Restaurant & Lounge: An elegant dining spot offering guests the chance to enjoy a delicious meal while meeting their favourite Disney Princesses. As evening falls, diners can also experience the dazzling new nighttime spectacular, illuminating Adventure Bay’s central lake.

When is World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris opening?

The eagerly anticipated World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris is scheduled to open in 2026, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed.

Disneyland Paris has kept details tightly under wraps, but as the construction progresses, glimpses of the stunning set pieces and attractions are generating lots of buzz. Make sure to keep an eye on official announcements and early booking options so you don’t miss out on experiencing the magic first-hand.

What to expect at the World of Frozen

World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris is shaping up to be one of the most immersive Disney attractions to date. Here’s a detailed look at some of the must-see highlights and experiences that await visitors:

1. Frozen Ever After

One of the main attractions will be Frozen Ever After, a magical boat ride that takes you through the beautiful Kingdom of Arendelle. The family-friendly attraction will showcase over 30 advanced audio animatronics, impressive special effects, and your favourite songs, such as “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”

Glide through snowy fjord landscapes, witness Elsa’s ice magic in action, and join Anna and Olaf on a journey filled with warmth and wonder. Perfect for all ages, this ride promises to be a highlight of your family trip to Paris.

2. Kingdom of Arendelle

The new land’s central theme is the Kingdom of Arendelle itself. Visitors will feel as if they’ve stepped into the film, with highly detailed architecture, hand-painted facades, snow-covered roofs, and charming cobbled streets.

The Scandinavian Kingdom of Arendelle will be a fantastic place to simply soak up the atmosphere, wander through beautifully designed shops, and enjoy the unique environment that transports you into the heart of Frozen

3. Elsa’s Ice Palace

No visit to the World of Frozen Disneyland Paris would be complete without seeing Elsa’s Ice Palace. This stunning structure will be a visually spectacular landmark within the park, located on the 36-metre-high North Mountain. Inside, visitors can experience interactive elements inspired by Elsa’s magical ice powers and perhaps even watch a short show or light display.

Beyond its breathtaking design, guests will be able to explore shimmering ice corridors and touch enchanted ice formations. Kids will be amazed by how realistic it looks! In short, this icy castle will be an iconic backdrop for memorable family photos and a must-visit spot during your visit.

4. Incredible Water Shows

Expect breathtaking water shows that combine music, light, and pyrotechnics on lakes or fountains within Frozen Land. These performances will highlight memorable songs like “Let It Go” and “Into the Unknown”, enhanced by stunning water effects and projections.

With bursts of colour, sparkling effects, and heartwarming music, the shows evoke the spirit of the films while providing a breathtaking sensory experience for visitors in the evenings, making for a magical end to your day at Disneyland Paris.

5. Meet and Greet with Elsa, Anna and Olaf

One of the most beloved parts of any Disney trip is meeting the characters. In Frozen Land, you’ll get plenty of opportunities to meet Elsa and Anna! Experience the full royal treatment with personalised interactions from the two sisters. Of course, who doesn’t love the silly and lovable Olaf? His cheerful antics and warm hugs make every encounter filled with laughter and joy.

Whether you want to pose for photos, get autographs, or just share a magical moment with your kids, these encounters will be a highlight of your visit. Character meet-and-greets are a great way to create lasting memories!

6. New Shopping and Dining Experiences

Frozen Land Disneyland Paris will also offer new shopping and dining options inspired by the Frozen films and Arendelle’s culture. Expect charming boutiques selling exclusive Frozen merchandise, including plush toys, clothing, souvenirs, and unique collectables you won’t find anywhere else.
