Disneyland® Paris is very inclusive and aims to provide an identically magical experience for all!

The kingdom has many procedures to help those with accessibility requirements navigate the park and join in with the many attractions. Here’s how they do it!

Safety for its guests

It’s important to note that not every attraction at Disneyland is accessible, and some rides have access restrictions to keep everyone safe.

Disney draws up their procedures and restrictions based on each attraction’s specific features, and if they can get people on there safely, they will! Access conditions, vehicle type and evacuation conditions are just some things that Disney prioritises to ensure you and everyone else are safe.

Accessible attractions

For the rides deemed safe, Disney provides equipment such as transfer boards to support wheelchair users boarding and disembarking from their wheelchairs, you can find all of this information in their accessibility plans document.

Some attractions at Disneyland allow wheelchair users to board the ride directly from their wheelchair — a fantastic way for everyone to join in with the magic! At some attractions, wheelchair users may need to transfer into the attraction vehicle on their own or with the support of another person. This is so they are secure in the ride’s vehicle and in instances where wheelchairs cannot fit.

Overall, Disneyland Paris has a fantastic number of accessible attractions, and they will provide you with a map featuring all the details you need to see what attractions work for your family!

Wheelchair rental

Wheelchair hire in Disneyland Paris is super-easy! You can rent a wheelchair for the day from the stroller/pushchair and wheelchair Rental shops at the park entrance, just by Town Square Terrace. You can also get one near Studio Services and the Walt Disney Studios Park.

Disability Pass Disneyland Paris

Guests with disabilities can apply for a Priority Pass in advance, which will help with the flow of the day. A Priority Pass enables you to take a shorter queue at certain attractions, speeding up your waiting times and getting your family on the rides faster! Not only that, but it’s also great for seeing the shows and parades, as the pass can be used for accessing the disabled viewing area.
