Disneyland® Paris planning tips

Take a look at our tips for planning Disneyland Paris:

Decide how long to go for

Whether you’re looking at spending one or two days at Disneyland Paris, deciding on this is key in helping you to plan the rest of the day or days you’ll have a Disney. Disneyland has two parks, which you can explore in a day, but maybe you don’t want to rush your time there and would prefer two days. Take a look at our blog to see how long you need at Disneyland Paris.

What clothes to take?

Of course, the weather is always unpredictable, but it’s still worth considering the time of the year that you’re visiting Disneyland. In the summer you might want to pack extra shorts for the family, suncream and other lighter clothing, with a raincoat just in case. We’ve got you covered with a full list of what to take to Disneyland Paris.

Plan your Disney itinerary

It’s always good to scope out the park before you get there. You can see where everything is, find out what’s on and locate your favourite rides. Planning out your Disney day out can help you fit more attractions and rides into your day. It’ll save you time looking at maps when you get there so you can head straight to the place you want to go first!

Take a packed lunch

If you don’t want to book any of the Disney restaurants, or you’re looking to do Disneyland Paris on a budget, then it’s definitely worth making a packed lunch for the family. With PGL, a packed lunch is included on your day to Disney, so grab whatever you like from our selection and get it packed! We’ve got tasty sandwiches, fruit and more.

A packed lunch is also great if you want a quick pit-stop lunch rather than a sit-down meal. It means you can get right back to the action!

Book restaurants

Alternatively, if you do want to experience any of the delightful restaurants at Disney, instead, or as well as having a packed lunch, then we recommend that you book in advance. You want to be spending as much time exploring the park as possible, and when you book before you arrive, there’ll be no queuing for a table because you’ll already have a table booked!
