What is a PGL weekend escape?
It is a 2 or 3 night weekend break with the family that starts on a Friday and features an adventure for all! Even the busiest families can experience the PGL magic without having to take time off work.
What happens on a PGL weekend escape?
We’ll fit in three to four of our fun adventure activities each day! It’s endless fun. From Kayaking to Fencing, a High Ropes Course, and more, your family can try out a range of games and challenges. Take your pick! Just let us know what your family likes and we’ll plan your schedule for you. How’s that sound?
That’s not all! What’s a weekend away without a disco, or a sing-song on the karaoke? There’s that too. Once the daily activities are done, you can relax and enjoy our evening entertainment, which also includes family quiz nights, crêpe making, treasure hunts, and more!

Kayaking
Explore the waterways around our PGL centres by kayaking down the rivers and lakes. Our instructors are there to give you a helping hand if it’s your first time. They’ll teach you the basics and then you can all get right to it!

Fencing
Try your hand at this classic Olympic sport. It’s one that many people have never tried before, so why not give it a try. Our expert instructors will help you get to grips with the sport and guide you throughout.

High Ropes Course
Challenge yourself to get across our High Ropes Course, suspended 10 metres off the ground. It’s all about determination and balance. We know you can all do it!

Paddleboarding
Has your family ever tried paddleboarding? Well here’s your chance. It’s great family fun as you keep your balance and paddle out into the water. Choose your own pace, there’s no need to rush!
