About Gasthof Schneerose
The village of Oberau has a small number of guesthouses, shops and restaurants and it is approx. 4km up the valley from its larger neighbour, Niederau.
There are 5 drag lifts in Oberau with 3 blue runs, 1 red and 1 black. The guesthouse is 5 minutes walk to a drag lift which has a blue run down the side of it. Further lifts can be accessed from Niederau or Auffach with more challenging runs for intermediate and advanced skiers.
Meals are served in the main dining room, which can also be used by the groups in the evenings. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style with a packed lunch prepared at breakfast by the guests. Hot lunches are available at the hotel when skiing in Oberau.
The hotel has a capacity of 55 guests, each room accommodates between 2 and 4, although the majority of rooms are twins. All rooms are en-suite with TV and balcony.
If you do not have a large enough group for sole occupancy there may be other small groups or private guests staying at the hotel.
You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.
