About Gasthof Unterwirt

This traditional, family-run hotel is located in the centre of Maishofen at the entrance to the Saalbach/Hinterglemm valley. The village has a supermarket, a bakery and a café.

The Schönleiten lifts are a 15 minute coach ride away. There is a beginners’ area here and groups can progress to the blue runs at the top of the Schönleiten gondola. This lift links with the whole area, so that later in the week groups can explore Saalbach and Hinterglemm and then return via pistes on the north side of the valley or on the free ski bus which runs at regular intervals during the day.

Each group has its own dining room for the week. Breakfast and dinner are both served buffet-style. There is a salad buffet each evening and tap water is also provided. A selection for lunch is laid out during breakfast so groups can choose what they would like and make up their own packed lunches. Selected complimentary drinks are available for adult guests.
