Gasthof zur Post Taxenbach

Zell am See / Kaprun, Austria

About Gasthof zur Post, Taxenbach

Gasthof zur Post (Taxenbach) is located right in the centre of the traditional village of Taxenbach.

Taxenbach is a quiet Austrian village with several shops and cafes - there is also a doctor's surgery.

The Zell am See lifts are 15 minutes away, which offer ideal progression for beginners and some challenging skiing for more capable skiers. The Kaprun glacier is also included in the pass, which gives your group the chance to ski at 3000m.

Accommodation

The accommodation is located on the second and third floors, away from the main Gasthof area and separated with a lockable entrance.

The rooms are of a good standard with 2-4 bedded rooms and also some bunk beds. All of the rooms are en suite.

You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.

Facilities

There is a small bar and café on the ground floor. The hotel also has it's own disco, which the group are able to use Monday-Thursday. There is also a recently modernised common room with TV, games and a comfortable seating area. There is a sauna available for adults.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the spacious, traditional dining room downstairs. A packed lunch is provided, so that the group does not have to return to the hotel during the day.
