The 3 star Hotel der Wolkensteinbär is located in the charming village of Bramberg am Wildkogel. The traditional Austrian village is famous for the nearby mountain valley of “Habachtal” which is the only place in Europe where emeralds are found. The village has a world famous mineral collection and museum, which attracts many visitors throughout the year.

The village also has a supermarket as well as several cafes and restaurants.

The hotel is a short walk (approx 500m) to the lifts at Bramberg. Beginners can also learn on the nearby “Wennsergletscher”, which is ideal for school groups and offers 2 short drag lifts.

Accommodation

The Hotel der Wolkensteinbär has a total of 250 beds split over 3 floors with a total of 50 rooms. Students are accommodated in 6-bedded rooms, whilst teaching staff are in 2-4 bedded rooms. All of the rooms are ensuite. There is one spacious 8-bedded room. All of the rooms are equipped with a TV, safe and hair dryer.

There are a total of 4 separate dining rooms, which can also be used by groups for evening activities where required. They are each equipped with a TV and DVD player. Breakfast is buffet-style and guests can choose to have a packed lunch or a hot soup on the mountain at the Gasthof Wolkenstein (only accessible to intermediate skiers). The three-course evening meal is served to the table. There is a self-service drinks bar and tap water is also available.
