This 3-star hotel is nestled in the mountains, high up in the Wildschönau ski area in the quiet hamlet of Mühltal.

The nearest lifts are in the village of Auffach, which is 3km away.

Accommodation is on a full-board basis, with a packed lunch to be eaten on the slopes.

Groups visiting the hotel can choose to ski in any of the three ski areas in the Wildschönau: Niederau, Oberau and Auffach. The new Skijuwel lift pass also now includes Alpach and a total of 145km of pistes.

Accommodation

The Hotel Färberwirt is a traditional, family run hotel, which is decorated, to a high standard.

The 77 bedrooms accommodate 2-5 guests each, with a maximum of 200 guests.

All rooms have ensuite facilities and are very comfortably furnished with the majority having balconies. Teachers will be accommodated in double/Austrian twin or single rooms.

Breakfast is served buffet style. A packed lunch is provided for the slopes and the 3-course evening meal is served to the table.

You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.

Beginners generally start the week on the nursery area in Niederau and then progress up onto the reds from the top of the Markbachjoch. Auffach is known for its more challenging skiing although there are several simple blue runs from the middle station of the Schatzbergbahn.
