Large groups have sole use of this converted country house set in its own grounds close to the Putterer lake, which is also owned by the Dornbusch family.

The house is close to the Schneebärenland which offers a total of 85km of piste in five separate resorts. Relatively unknown by tour operators, the area offers quieter slopes at busy times.

Tauplitz is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The Riesneralm is 25 minutes away.

Groups can also choose to pay a small supplement and ski in Schladming instead, which is a 30-minute drive from the hotel.

Accommodation

There are 80 beds in 15 rooms spread over two floors. Students are generally accommodated in spacious 4-10 bedded rooms and teachers are mainly in twin rooms. The majority of rooms are en suite. Large groups have sole use of the hotel.

The Putterschlössl has two dining rooms. Both can be used as meeting rooms for evening activities. There is also a large games room on the third floor. There are 2 balconies in the property accessed via the staircase.

Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style and a packed lunch is provided for the slopes. When skiing at Riesneralm a hot lunch can be taken in place of a packed lunch in the Base Camp restaurant next to the lift. Guests should bring their own drink bottle which can be filled with squash at breakfast.

A damage deposit may be payable on arrival.
