About Jugendhotel Tauernhof

This purpose-built youth hotel is located just outside the town of Obertauern, 1km from the town centre.

The Tauernhof is 400m from the Kehrkopfbahn, which grants access to the whole of the Obertauern region and also has several beginner slopes suitable for the start of the week.

From the Tauernhof there is a 400m ski path, which takes groups to the Kehrkopfbahn lift. Here there is a beginner’s area and the funpark centre. From here, groups can join the Obertauern circular routes.

Alternatively, groups can start from the beginner slopes next to the Grünwaldkopfbahn in the centre of Obertrauern, which is 5 minute coach drive from the hotel.

Accommodation

The hotel has a total of 227 beds divided over two wings, each with its own entrance.

The accommodation offers 4-6 bedded rooms for students and twin rooms for staff.

All of the rooms are en suite.

Accommodation is on a full board basis with a breakfast buffet, packed lunch and a 3-course evening meal. Tap water is available at all meals.

You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.
