The Pension Klausenhof is nestled in the mountains, high up in the Wildschönau ski area. Accommodation is on a full-board basis, with a packed lunch to be eaten on the slopes.

Guest can take just a short 5 minute walk to a T-bar accessing the Niederau ski area.

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the village which offers a traditional atmosphere and pretty Austrian charm.

In Niederau there are also pizza restaurants, cafés, shops and a ‘snow pub’.

Accommodation

This is a family run hotel, with a capacity of approximately 100 guests.

All the rooms have en suite facilities and have been recently refurbished in light wood.

Pupils are accommodated in rooms sleeping up to five, while teachers are in twin or single rooms (as available).

You may be charged a damage deposit on arrival.

Beginners generally start the week on the nursery area in Niederau and then progress up onto the reds from the top of the Markbachjoch. Auffach is known for its more challenging skiing although there are several simple blue runs from the middle station of the Schatzbergbahn.
