Set in a sunny bowl at the foot of the Stelvio Pass in the mountains of Lombardy, Bormio is one of Italy's top ski resorts; host to World Cup Championships.
Bormio is a spa town of considerable character and charm. The cobbled streets of the historic town centre are lined with fine buildings and an array of stylish shops, bars and restaurants.
PGL groups normally ski Bormio, as the majority of hotels are within walking distance of the main gondola, offering first-rate convenience. For a supplement the more adventurous have the opportunity to explore the pistes of neighbouring Santa Caterina and Cima Piazzi/San Colombano. A coach is required for this as the 4 Valleys are not interconnected by ski lifts.
