Imst & Pitztal

The bustling resort of Imst lies close to the entrance of the stunning Pitz Valley. Four ski areas are included on the Pitztal lift pass. Beginners and those wanting to find their ski legs at the start of the week can ski on the beginner slopes at Imst, just five minutes from the hotel.

Groups can progress down the valley to either the Hochzeiger ski area, with 54km of pistes, or continue on to the larger area of Rifflsee and the Pitztal glacier (approx 40mins from Imst).

Here the world’s fastest underground train, the “Pitz-Express”, takes you up the mountain to the highest cable car in Austria at 3440m where you can enjoy panoramic views and the highest cup of coffee in Austria! There is something for everyone here, with a good variety of wide open slopes and tree-lined runs.
