About Milky Way - Monti della Luna
Clavière and Cesana are small traditional Alpine villages nestling in the valleys between Italy and France that form the ‘Monti della Luna’ ski area. With this lift pass groups can also hop over to France for the day, or spend a day exploring the pistes of Sansicario.
In Claviere, the nursery area in the centre of the village is excellent for beginners, offering great progression, and two chairlifts give access to a wide selection of red runs further up the mountain or down towards Cesana. For the more adventurous, a full Italian Milky Way lift pass is also available for a small supplement.
Inclusive lift pass: Monti della Luna (includes 1 day's skiing in Milky Way and 1 day in Montgenèvre). Please note: this is only available for intermediate and advanced skiers due to the time restraints of ski lessons.
