Passports and visas
It is the Party Leader’s responsibility to ensure that all party members have a valid passport and that they have the correct documentation for every member of the group.
We do not recommend collective passports for ski trips.
Here is the latest Government advice on travel to Europe following the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.
Until 1 January 2021, you can continue to travel to Europe with your UK passport until it expires.
New rules will apply for travel to Europe from 1 January 2021.
- You’ll need to have at least 6 months left on an adult or child passport to travel to most countries in Europe (not including Ireland).
- If you renewed your current passport before the previous one expired, extra months may have been added to its expiry date. Any extra months on your passport over 10 years may not count towards the 6 months needed.
- You’ll need to renew your passport before travelling if you do not have enough time left on your passport. However all designs of British passports that meet the new rules will be equally acceptable for travel.

For current visa information, please check with the embassy/consulate of the countries involved. If members of your party require visas to enter other countries, please ensure they have a visa for re-entry into the UK. Here are some useful sources of information for visas:
